Parents of seventh grade students are reminded that their children are required to have the Tdap shot before they can enter seventh grade. This required Tdap shot has to be taken by all seventh grade students, including those who are virtual as well as those who attend school in a cohort.
The Virginia Health Department is scheduled to be at Ridgeview Middle School
Thursday afternoon, August 13th, from 1:00 to 3:00
for a drive through vaccine clinic. Tdap and HPV vaccine shots will be given at that time. Parents who are interested need to call the Health Department in advance to schedule an appointment time. The phone number is 276-926-4979.

Tdap immunization requirements for entry into seventh grade
Dear parents and guardians of rising 7th grade students.  A Tdap booster is required for all students entering 7th grade including those who choose all virtual learning.  7th grade students can not begin school in August without documentation of the Tdap  booster.  Please contact your health care provider or local health department if your child needs this vaccine. if your child received this vaccine in the 6th grade they will not need another.  Dickenson County health department will be doing vaccines on August to 5th and 6th please contact  them for a appointment if needed.

2020-2021 Academic Calendar


                         Free Breakfast and Lunch for all Students
Ridgeview Middle will be providing free meals (breakfast and lunch) to all students for the 2018-2019 school year.  No further action is required by Parents/Guardians, and all children will be able to participate in this meal program without having to pay any fees or submit any meal applications.
Please Note:  If you wish for your child to purchase extra food items, please apply the appropriate funds to their meal account, as charges are not allowed in the School Nutrition Program.  You may use or send a prepayment for their account.
