If we are on a regular schedule tomorrow, Wednesday December 17th, we will be having the Winter Program. 9:00 for first and second grade parents. 10:30 for third and fourth grade parents.

Dickenson County Public Schools will operate on a Virtual Learning Day for today, Tuesday, December 16, 2025. The instructional day will be from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We ask all students to login to their classes at the times given to them by their teachers/school.

Dickenson County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay on Friday, December 12, 2025, due to inclement weather.
If DCPS has to close due to poor road conditions, a Virtual Learning Day will be announced by 8:00 AM

Dickenson County Public Schools will be virtual for today, Thursday, December 11, 2025.

The instructional day will be from 10:00 AM-3:00 PM. Students should login to their classes at the times given to them by their teachers/school.

We are so sorry to announce that we must reschedule the Winter Holiday Program once again. This is never what we hope for, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this causes. With more uncertain weather on the way, we want to ensure the safety of all our students, families, and staff. We will be announcing a new date next week, once we have a clearer picture of the forecast and can make the best decision for everyone. Today, while a teacher was walking down the hallway, she accidentally dropped $20 out of her pocket without even realizing it. Before she could notice, Kylee picked it up and brought it straight to her!

That simple act showed BIG integrity — doing the right thing even when no one is watching. 💛🐺

We are so proud of Kylee for being honest, responsible, and a shining example for our Wolf Pack!

Ridgeview Elementary families, please note that all after-school tutoring will be paused for the remainder of the year.

Tutoring will resume in the new year when weather conditions permit, and we will share an announcement as soon as a return date is confirmed.
