We’ll finish the season with a Track Meet on Saturday, May 10th at 11AM, featuring:
Shot Put (3lb)
Long Jump
50m, 100m, and 400m Dashes
60m Mini Hurdles
Medals will be awarded to the top 3 in each event.

8th Grade students will soon begin working on their high school schedules. The portal for student requests will soon open in PowerSchool. We will be working with students here at school to help them submit their course requests. We highly encourage parents to be involved in this process, as well.
You may access student scheduling information/videos on the Ridgeview High School website (https://rvhs.dcps.k12.va.us/o/rhs/page/2025-2026-course-registration). Students will be provided with their login information. There will also be instructions on how to reset passwords, if needed. For upcoming freshmen, most options will be pre populated as certain classes are required.

Students in grades 5 and 8 will be participating in the Virginia Integrated Reading and Writing Assessment on Tuesday, March 25, 2025. Ridgeview Elementary, Middle, and High School will have meals available for take home tomorrow February 13th for all students enrolled in Dickenson County Public Schools! These breakfast and lunch meals are sent ahead of any inclement weather virtual days. Please encourage your students to pick up these meals as they leave school. As always our fantastic cafeteria staff at each school THANK YOU for you support!!
