Dickenson County Public Schools is excited to offer free summer meal opportunities for children this summer in both June and July! Information for June will be posted soon. For July, parents may choose ONE of the following options:
Meals may be picked up on the Ridgeview campus, or parents can sign up for Amazon home delivery meals provided through Feeding Southwest Virginia by clicking on the QR code in the flyer below.
The link below contains the Parent Meal Pick Up Form for July that contains more detailed information. Students will be given a form at school by the end of the week or if needed, parents can print the form from the link and return it to school. Parents should return the form by May 29th.

Due to a schedule conflict and weather this week, the start of Little League Track & Field will be delayed by one week. It will now start next Monday the 11th. An updated flyer is attached.

This is a reminder that any RMS student who was issued a chromebook, case and charger to use at home, must return those as soon as possible to avoid fees for missing and lost equipment. Chromebooks and equipment may be returned any time during the school day to the bookkeeper's office.

The Integrated Reading and Writing (IRW) SOL test will be administered to students in grades 5 and 8 on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. Students should arrive on time, as testing begins promptly after homeroom. Students with accommodations will test individually or in small groups as needed.
