There will also be vision screenings provided by the Clintwood Lions Club and school adolescent approved immunizations needed to start school, provided by the Cumberland Plateau Health District, Virginia Department of Health.

Tuesday, July 15, 2025 is our next food pick-up at the Ridgeview Campus. The parent/guardian food pick up is from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. We have planned for more meals this time, but once all meals have been distributed the site will close. If a student is not enrolled in Dickenson County Public Schools, a form will need to be filled out on site. Students must be 18 years or younger.

August 1, 2025 from 3 PM to 7 PM at Ridgeview Campus!

Dickenson County Public Schools first summer food distribution will be on Monday, July 7th between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. The meal packs will consist of 8 breakfast and 8 lunches with a gallon of milk.

Please look for signs and the tent when you enter the Ridgeview Campus.

This is for any child ages 3-18 regardless if they are enrolled in DCPS schools or not. If a child is not enrolled, there will be a form that will need to be filled out which includes the child's name and name of adult picking up the meals.

First Come, first Served-We will give out until we run out!

Other distribution days will be July 15th and July 22nd.

This is a reminder that any RMS student who was issued a chromebook, case, and charger, to use at home during Virtual Learning days, must return those to the school as soon as possible to avoid fees for missing or lost equipment.

*YEARBOOK REMINDER* If you ordered and have not picked up your RMS 2025 yearbook, you may do so between the hours of 8am-4pm, M-F, in the front office. Also, if you would like to purchase a yearbook, there are still some available. *EDIT* Yearbooks are $40.

Attention all 5th graders! Information for: Ridgeview Little League Track & Field Check out the flyer below for all the details — practices start Monday, April 28th at 6PM, and will be held every Monday and Friday at 6PM. We’ll finish the season with a Track Meet on Saturday, May 10th at 11AM, featuring: Shot Put (3lb) Long Jump 50m, 100m, and 400m Dashes 60m Mini Hurdles Medals will be awarded to the top 3 in each event. Pre-registration guarantees a T-shirt, so sign up early! 8th Grade students will soon begin working on their high school schedules. The portal for student requests will soon open in PowerSchool. We will be working with students here at school to help them submit their course requests. We highly encourage parents to be involved in this process, as well. You may access student scheduling information/videos on the Ridgeview High School website (https://rvhs.dcps.k12.va.us/o/rhs/page/2025-2026-course-registration). Students will be provided with their login information. There will also be instructions on how to reset passwords, if needed. For upcoming freshmen, most options will be pre populated as certain classes are required. As always, please reach out to us at 276-835-1601 with any questions.
