Dickenson County Public Schools first summer food distribution will be on Monday, July 7th between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. The meal packs will consist of 8 breakfast and 8 lunches with a gallon of milk.
Please look for signs and the tent when you enter the Ridgeview Campus.
This is for any child ages 3-18 regardless if they are enrolled in DCPS schools or not. If a child is not enrolled, there will be a form that will need to be filled out which includes the child's name and name of adult picking up the meals.

Other distribution days will be July 15th and July 22nd.

This is a reminder that any RMS student who was issued a chromebook, case, and charger, to use at home during Virtual Learning days, must return those to the school as soon as possible to avoid fees for missing or lost equipment.

If you ordered and have not picked up your RMS 2025 yearbook, you may do so between the hours of 8am-4pm, M-F, in the front office. Also, if you would like to purchase a yearbook, there are still some available.

8th Grade students will soon begin working on their high school schedules. The portal for student requests will soon open in PowerSchool. We will be working with students here at school to help them submit their course requests. We highly encourage parents to be involved in this process, as well.
You may access student scheduling information/videos on the Ridgeview High School website (https://rvhs.dcps.k12.va.us/o/rhs/page/2025-2026-course-registration). Students will be provided with their login information. There will also be instructions on how to reset passwords, if needed. For upcoming freshmen, most options will be pre populated as certain classes are required.
